The voting is in, and there was a tie between the deep purple and the deep blue backgrounds. The flat black background only got two votes. Nevertheless, all the covers and backgrounds look great!

Since I will have to cast the final vote, I vote for the deep purple background. In my opinion, the deep purple is suggestive of the red wine the model is drinking as one voter stated, and it is an element in the novel. If you must know, though, blue is my favorite color.

One voter wanted to know what the model was thinking about. Do you suppose we have a Mona Lisa for the 21^st century?
