Alternative Realities

On television we enjoy programs of Alternative Reality or Parallel Universes (sometimes even multiverses) that bring out the fantastical, fantasy worlds that enthrall us all. We can go from present to past and future in the blink of an eye. Flip through the channels on your remote control. You can watch Grimm, Once Upon a Time, True Blood, The Lord of the Rings, and, let's not forget gems like the Harry Potter movies and the classic Peter Pan.

Let's suppose that you live in one of these alternative realities. You go about your day, but at some point you may need emergency help. Who do you call? Ghostbusters? 911? And you're a vampire. Who knows? You may be living in an alternative reality. You simply haven't picked up on it yet. Or you may just feel like you are.
